I'm proud to call Charlie an old friend! Growing up in GR Michigan and getting involved in the band Lotus, Charlie was the front man for several local bands before joining Nugent. He never played with Lotus, but we all ran in the same circles and played in the same local bars. Damn I realize I am so much older than most people commenting. I was 10 years old when my brothers me on to missing persons. They taught me the dead kennedys all the way to new wave and even the 70s. My parents taught me earlier rock. My best friend lent me Missing Persons first record and finally mom and dad bought it for me. I will always love new wave and I only wish I had been old enough to go to clubs and be an adult. Especially in Birmingham England back then.
